VOLTAIC - Magicka Sorcerer 120k+ DPS Guide

Prebuff and Opening Rotation

Consume your Spell Power potion about ~35 seconds before starting the fight as you don't want to pop your potion right away after you start the fight as you want your Magicka to be as low as possible for the opening burst and you want to gain a reprieve on your Magicka sustain at a certain point as well.

Once your Magicka pool hits 20% to 30%, initiate the fight by casting:

• Tormentor
• Greater Storm Atronach
• Volatile Familiar
• Scalding Rune
• Barbed Trap

Dynamic Rotation

The Magicka Sorcerer dynamic rotation isn't as complicated as some other classes' such as the Magicka Nightblade or Stamina Dragonknight as you only need to prioritize the following skills in order of priority (from top to bottom):

• Daedric Prey
• Crystal Fragment PROC (not cast)
• Unstable Wall of Fire
• Barbed Trap
• Volatile Familiar
• Everything Else

Static Rotation

The skills you should cast in order (from top to bottom) for a static rotation are as follows:

• Daedric Prey
• Crystal Fragments x5 (procs included, spammable of your choice)
• Daedric Prey
• Volatile Familiar
• Unstable Wall of Fire
• Scalding Rune
• Crystal Fragments x2 (procs included, spammable of your choice)
• Daedric Prey

If your Barbed Trap runs out, simply recast it in place of one of the spammable casts.

Execute Rotation

Once you hit below 20% Health, you want to use Flawless Dawnbreaker over the Storm Atronach Ultimate.

You will immediately stop using Volatile Familiar and Daedric Prey after they expire below the 20% health mark on target. 

You will immediately stop hardcasting Crystal Fragments/spammable and replace it with weaving Mage's Wrath and only use Crystal Fragments procs if they appear.

Keep up the durations of Unstable Wall of Fire and Barbed Trap until about 4%.
