Introduction
With Update 33, otherwise known as the Ascending Tide DLC, there are new ways of attaining XP - known as "Reputation" - for the purpose of leveling your Undaunted skill line.
Below is a chart showing the amount of Reputation points you need per and to each level of the Undaunted skill line (Lvl 1 - 10):
Level | Reputation Needed to Level | Total Reputation |
1 | 0 | 0 |
2 | 50 | 50 |
3 | 100 | 150 |
4 | 150 | 300 |
5 | 200 | 500 |
6 | 200 | 700 |
7 | 200 | 900 |
8 | 200 | 1100 |
9 | 200 | 1300 |
10 | 200 | 1500 |
Due to the nature of the Account Wide Achievement system that was implemented in Update 33, the Undaunted system had to change.
How It Used to Work
The sheer majority of the Undaunted progression in Reputation came from attaining character-specific achievements such as the initial clear achievements, miscellaneous achievements (such as buying Undaunted NPCs a drink at taverns), extra achievements (Hard Mode, Speed Run, No Death) and other achievements to progress from Level 1 to Level 9 Undaunted.
Below is a chart showing the pre-U33 values of Reputation from the specific sources:
Source | Reputation Granted |
Daily Delve Quest | 10 |
Achievements | 10-30 |
Normal Pledge | 10 |
Veteran Pledge | 20 |
With the new account wide achievement system, this obviously presents problems as the character progression through the Undaunted skill line would automatically be leveled by the achievements.
How It Works Now
Below is a chart showing the amount of Reputation points granted by the specific sources post-U33:
Source | Reputation Granted |
Daily Delve Quest | 10 |
Achievements | 0 |
Dungeon Quest | 25 |
Normal Pledge | 25 |
Veteran Pledge | 50 |
Veteran Hard Mode | 100 |
Normal Trial Quest | 50 |
Veteran Trial Quest | 100 |
