Gear Review
The Gaze of Sithis is a powerful Mythic that allows you to gain more mitigation at the cost of not being able to gain Block mitigation. If you're playing outnumbered, Blocking usually isn't what saves you most of the time as line of sighting and playing well with positioning and prioritizing which target to focus contribute more to your success. You can still block stuns despite not gaining Block mitigation.
The Pariah set is amazing for 1vX fights as it makes it much harder for your opponents to get you down further in terms of Health towards your execute range. You ideally want Pariah in two heavy pieces (Chest and Legs) on body as you don't want to forgo any more Light armor pieces as you still need the Light Armor passives to go on the offensive since Gaze of Sithis is also a heavy piece.
Your secondary set on the backbar will be Clever Alchemist which offers a massive Spell Damage boost. Having it on one bar allows you to control when to consume a Potion to trigger its 5x effects in order to gain the burst damage on demand.
Lastly, the Vateshran Inferno staff, Wrath of Elements, is another must to this build as it synchronizes very well with you needing to cast Elemental Drain for additional Penetration and Magicka sustain.
Skills Review
Flames of Oblivion offers Spell Crit through Major Prophecy while it does passive direct damage every 5 seconds to enemy players. The Major Prophecy is quite useful especially if you need to use the tri-stat potions.
Elemental Drain offers Penetration, sustain through Minor Magickasteal and procs your Vateshran Inferno staff.
Molten Whip meshes well with the usage of Shifting Standard and is your main spammable.
Shattering Rocks is not only a powerful crowd control skill that cannot be blocked or roll dodged by other players but also a decent heal upon cast which is incredibly useful especially when fighting outnumbered.
Shifting Standard is your usual front bar Ultimate that allows you to relocate a source of Major Defile anywhere you desire for as long as you last. It is a powerful option to use against targets that have high healing capabilities and applies immense pressure in terms of area domination.
On the backbar are your primary healing skills such as Rapid Regeneration and Coagulating Blood. In addition, you can backbar Engulfing Flames to gain up to an additional 10% Flame Damage boost on enemy targets from all of your flame-based damage skills.
Degeneration is the preferred morph over Structured Entropy as you don't necessarily need more healing but cheaper costs in casting the skill. Furthermore since you're usually using tri-stat potions, Degeneration offers Major Sorcery which increases your Spell Damage.
Volatile Armor is your source of Major Resolve which increases your Physical and Spell Resistances which is further affected by the Mark of Pariah set you will be wearing.
Ferocious Leap is the backbar Ultimate, it's particularly nice as your Clever Alchemist can be activated while on your backbar as well which you can then directly follow up with a Ferocious Leap on an enemy player.

Champion Points Review
To see what each Champion Point does, hover over or tap each one shown in the allocation chart.
Wrathful Strikes, Master-at-Arms, Resilience and Deadly Aim are
the primary Warfare Slottables you will need. Wrathful Strikes, Master-at-Arms and Deadly Aim will affect all of your direct damage abilities single or otherwise including Molten Whip, Ferocious Leap, Flames of Oblivion and so forth. Resilience is still nice to have in the Blackwood patch.
Juggernaut, Peace of Mind, Survival Instincts and Rejuvenation are the primary Fitness Slottables you will want. While Juggernaut offers more damage mitigation after being crowd-controlled by enemy players, the three other Fitness Slottables will contribute to you gaining more sustain as a Magicka Dragonknight. Survival Instincts in particular synchronizes well with Breton's magicka cost reduction.
Gifted Rider, Steed's Blessing, Rationer and Liquid Efficiency are the usual Craft slottables many use but War Mount can be a good one should you be more wary of people trying to dismount you.
