The Designer Spotlight is an 'interview a designer' session that is generally scheduled once a week at Professor Airie's Twitch stream — featuring one designer each time and providing an opportunity to explore the designer's inspiration, stories behind the homes, thought processes, design concepts, and tips and tricks.
And for the first time ever on the ESO University website, the following images will be shown in galleria format (no more scrolling down!)
Make sure to check out Airie's Ultimate ESO Homestead Guide along with a previous Designer Spotlight featuring @thesandres from PC/EU!
Rene is a housing specialist at Fashion Scrolls Online. She has been decorating houses for about a year and she finds inspirations in game such as from quests and others people’ homes, and sometimes ideas just come about spontaneously when she is decorating and experimenting with furnishings.
If you know that house is too big to fill all spaces, close off part(s) of the house by using fences, walls, hedges, and add more trees and lights to make the house look cozier.
If you are not sure how a furnishing looks and you do not want to buy extra furnishings unnecessarily then try it out on PTS — this would be more cost-effective.
Do not be afraid of mixing styles as the results can sometimes surprise us.
Consider using a piece of furnishing for other purposes, i.e., a cabinet does not have to be used as a cabinet. We can use a given piece of furniture in a completely different way. Do you need to change the fronts because the alinor cabinet does not match the decor? Combine 2 cabinets to create a completely new piece of furniture.
